We’ve finally got back into jamming some new ideas about down in our little basement. Early days, yet, but it’s nice to go there knowing that we don’t have to play the same songs over and over.
As a little side project, me and Lee have been working on an ambient piece as the soundtrack to an Art exhibition in Leeds @ Holy Trinity Church all this week. It’s a half-hour long journey through the seasons of a tree - Autumn through to Summer - and it’s been a good opportunity to utilise every synthesiser we could get our mitts on. Knowingly titled “Look at that Tree!”, we are performing it at the church on Wednesday evening, so come down if you can. It might even appear on the music section of this website at some point…..
We had a lovely gig in London last monday at the Big Chill House with Spokes, and here’s Owain from the band giving his answer to whether or not we could eat all their dinner while they were on stage……

We are pleased to announce that the wonderful people at Headquarter-entertainment will be managing our gig-bookings next year, and we should be heading to Ireland and the continent in spring, as well as another jaunt round the UK. Keep checking here and the myspace for updates.
Any body wanting to book us for gigs please email
and cc to
Also, We’ve a had a lovely live review in this month’s Rocksound magazine of our 20-minute, 3-song micro-gig that we played at In The City in Manchester on the 5th October, so check it aaaaowt. Aaaah Slipknot.

We’re all back home and fully rested after the tour, ready for our first actual rehearsal in ages which will take place this evening. Hopefully we’re gonna push the boat out and start to write some new tunes (having only managed to finish 1 new song this year so far, we’re chomping at the bits to make some new sounds).
The tour was all coooooooool. Thanks to everyone for coming out to play, or putting the gigs on / letting us crash etc. etc., and a massive swishy thanks to Jonathan our megatastic sound-man for doing such a sterling job twiddling the nobs.
We’ve got some T-Shirts left-over, so we’l endeavour to get a paypal button up on here A.S.A.P with a list of sizes / colours available.
Those Vesselians living across the channel on what is known as “The Continent”, we might just be playing in your viscinity in the new year. Hold that thought.
ps if you see either of these men, please tell them that you love them.
