Miitten Salvers

Here are the facts on the ground:

Vessels will be performing live this summer at the following two woodland themed weekend mini-breaks:

Friday 18th July, Beat Herder, Ribble Valley, Lancashire

Saturday 19th July, Fell Foot Sound, Fell Foot Wood, the Lake district

We are booning for these shows. Festies are always a massive deal on the Vessels calendar. In case you missed our last missive, we have a date in Barcelona at Aloud Music Fest this week on the 4th April. Mr Nathan Of Fakeness is playing in the same building that night, OMFG indeed.

Leeds gig tomorrow

Tomorrow – yes – tomorrow night we will smash out loads of brand new tunes in our first ever gig at Leeds’ new venue the Belgrave Music Hall and Canteen.

To warm your cold bits, Kit Grill will be hefting out his DJ sounds at some point after doors open at 8pm.

To put you in the mood, our very own bearded pan handler Martin Teff has put together the Belgravity mix – a heftous mix of buncing tunes and remixes that he does lunges to in his utility room. The lovely fellows at Clash did one of those premiere type jobbies. Download it now over at our Booncamp page. Skeft off yr tickets here

photoFlap Jilbers

Despite the fact that we have been beavering away finishing our album (that’s right I said ITS FINISHED) you know we get bored pretty easily so we’ve smashed out this belting remix of ‘Says‘ by German ivory tickler and all round lovely chap Nils Frahm. Boon it up from Soundcloud/Bandcamp here, and whilst you’re on it check out the original, it’s a complete megaskeft…

And for you Yorkshire folk we have a very special treat, as we wanted to let you know that we will be booning up our first show of the year in our very own Leeds, at the newly established Belgrave Music Hall and Canteen on Thursday 27th March. Buy yersen a ticket here (Facebook event), and keep your ears peeled and your eyes unblinking for news of supports and further gig announcements for the year…

Reckon this year is shaping up pretty Flifty so far…

Vessels 2013 end of year roundup

Pretty hard to believe that its been a full year since last year’s Christmas and New Year’s Eve shenanigans, why it feels like only yesterday that I was down at the local police station on a frosty New Year’s morning bailing out a dishevelled and vague Martin Teff and then spending the rest of the day phoning up local Emu farms to try and arrange Mildred’s safe return…

2013 drawing to a close…

So then Gweft Badgers

It’s been a busy year for us and we’d like to thank each and every one of you.

Recent UK shows were sweet – playing the at Simple Things was a blast and ending the year in a Tuncenatingly rammed Macbethaboon of a show was deeply spesh. Also big shout out to our Norwegian brothers and sisters, for the wonderful time we had at Ekko Fest.

We’ve been beavering away ourselves on a new album and we reckon it might even be completed by December. Watch. This. Space.

We’re also deeply pleased by the love that everyone is showing for the wonderful remix of Elliptic that Barker and Baumecker have befted. It is truly euphoric yet also deeply tasteful.

More announcements and bunce tingling gwelmnards on their way in the coming weeks and months.

2014 gonna be big.
